Have been hugely inspired by ‘The house that 100k built’ and only wish I had seen it 5 years ago before building two houses that almost bankrupted me and are only really remarkable for their ordinaryness. By the time the planners, architect, structural engineer, highways authority etc. had their say and I felt I had to follow all “expert” input……..no more needs to be said. If I can ever conjure up the funds to do it again it will be a different experience!?!
