Great to see this finally taking shape – it is the welfare facility for the tree team at Westonbirt, and complements the bigger Machinery Store that we’ve designed and is currently under construction next door to it. All the timber has been grown on site and is being used in its unseasoned and untreated state, but we’ve had to use a little steel to resist the twist of the complex double curved hyperbolic paraboloid roof.
